As a licensed psychologist who has worked with a wide variety of mental health populations, from adolescents in forensic settings to adults in hospital settings and private practices, Dr. Davis assists the director of neurorehabilitation at FHE Health. Laine provides consultation, assessment, and intervention services for a range of patients who may be dealing with emotional distress from medical conditions and/or substance use disorders. Dr. Davis specializes in anxiety, depression, interpersonal and relationship issues, substance use disorders, and psychological evaluations. She also treats the cognitive, mental, and behavioral effects of brain disorders.
Dr. Davis earned a M.S. (Clinical Mental Health Counseling) from Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida. After that, she obtained a Psy.D. (Clinical Psychology, Health Psychology Track) from Carlos Albizu University, Miami Campus, where her dissertation explored the effects of virtual reality exposure therapy and other PTSD treatments on the cortisol levels of combat veterans. Laine’s other interests include psychotherapy, sleep hygiene, chronic pain, and behavioral weight management.
