Anitra Carter brings over three decades of expertise in healthcare compliance and risk management to her role as Chief Compliance and Risk Officer. For over 20 years, she served as Performance Improvement and Risk Management Director for a large healthcare system, where she implemented comprehensive performance improvement programs and patient safety initiatives and led successful audits and investigations. Ms. Carter has expertise in healthcare laws, regulations, and accreditation standards, including The Joint Commission, CARF, HIPAA, HITECH, Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, Medicare/Medicaid, and the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration and Department of Children and Families regulations. As Chief Compliance and Risk Officer, Anitra is committed to upholding the highest ethical standards and promoting a culture of integrity, accountability, and excellence in patient care.
