A registered clinical social work intern, Tara has a Master of Social Work from Florida International University and is on the path toward licensure as a clinical social worker (LCSW). She is passionate about guiding, supporting, and empowering those who face substance abuse and mental health challenges and related struggles like grief and trauma.
Tara takes a person-centered and solution-focused approach, which incorporates various evidence-based therapies. These include cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and motivational interviewing (MI). She is also certified in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) for anxiety, stress, addiction, and trauma.
