Muhammad Kashif Nawaz, PMHNP-BC, MPH
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Mr. Nawaz is responsible for psychiatric evaluations and psychiatric medication management. He has extensive experience in psychiatric nursing, having worked in a variety of settings, including inpatient hospitals, outpatient practices, medical detox units, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities. Prior to earning a degree and board certification to become a psychiatric nurse practitioner, Muhammad served as a medic in the U.S. Army for seven years. Mr. Nawaz also holds a Master of Public Health from the University of North Texas and a MBBS degree in family medicine (equivalent to a MD in the U.S.) from Nishtar Medical College in Pakistan. He is passionate about his job, because he enjoys “helping people” and finds his work “very rewarding.”
