Interventionist and National Outreach Liaison
Interventionist and National Outreach Liaison Nathan Fears has been working to save lives from addiction since he was 19 years old. In the more than 38 years that he has been supporting individuals and families with addiction and mental health needs, he has intervened in hundreds of cases to convince individuals to receive treatment.
Adolescents and young adults have been his passion. Nathan has gained many lifelong relationships with people who maintained their sobriety and went on to lead successful lives. He has also found that the number of positive outcomes far outweighs the number of lives destroyed by addiction.
In his new role at FHE, Nathan will be expanding his intervention services to focus on assisting young adults and adults in need of treatment. He will also serve as a consultant to therapists, psychiatrists, hospitals, and other referring providers nationwide.
“FHE is a competent, comprehensive program that I trust,” Nathan said in a recent interview. “I recently referred a client who is like family. I wouldn’t do that if I didn’t have confidence in the program.”
Nathan has served at the helm of multiple treatment facilities and in various business and clinical leadership positions. He has also had the opportunity to co-produce films, write articles and publications, appear on radio and television, and speak to audiences nationwide.
