Friends Worried About Teen Mom Star
Teen Mom star Ryan Edwards left rehab this week but was quickly arrested for a past possession of heroin. Meanwhile, his wife Mackenzie announced the couple is expecting.
As reported by InTouch Weekly, while his wife Mackenzie Standifer seems to think everything is “fine,” others close to Teen Mom: OG star Ryan Edwards are more than worried for him. The past couple of days have been nothing short of a rollercoaster ride for the couple — with Mackenzie announcing her pregnancy and then Ryan getting arrested for breaking his probation not even 24 hours later — and his friends fear that he needed more impatient rehab.
“There have been major concerns about Ryan’s sobriety,” an insider close to the 30-year-old revealed to Us Weekly. “At the upcoming reunion, his drug addiction is a major subject. Specifically, Ryan needed more inpatient treatment, longer than what he previously got.” He had once spent 30 days in an inpatient rehabilitation facility back in 2017.

Ryan was arrested on Tuesday, March 27 on a warrant for petition to revoke — which basically means breaking probation — related to a past simple possession of heroin charge according to the Chattanooga Times Free Press. The father-of-one’s substance abuse issues have been a running theme on the MTV reality show. And while ex Maci Bookout has continuously worried about his well-being throughout the years, wife Mackenzie seems to think Ryan’s fine.
