Florida House Experience started as an idea nearly 20 years ago in South Florida, the hub of the substance abuse treatment industry. After personally committing to recovery and Founder, Mr. Sherief Moustafa felt inspired to create a healthy environment for all people who are suffering from the disease of addiction.
Over time, Sherief’s vision transformed a men’s-only sober living facility, known as “the Florida House,” into a small addiction treatment campus. With guidance from a higher power, he expanded within the community to form the dually-accredited substance abuse and behavioral health care facility known nationwide as the Florida House Experience (FHE).
Sherief gradually extended FHE levels of care and services to treat mental health and medical issues concurrent with substance abuse treatment. By embracing a medically integrated, truly multidisciplinary approach, The Florida House Experience has outgrown the original Florida treatment model. We recognize that it is now time for our name to align with our core values and innovative treatment methods.
After months of research, we are proud to publicly unveil our new identity and reaffirm our commitment to providing the highest quality of comprehensive, compassionate substance abuse treatment and primary mental health care in the country.
