FHE Health follows a rigorous preparedness protocol for hurricanes and other weather hazards. We closely monitor on-the-ground developments in relation to our facility in Deerfield Beach, Florida, so that we can adjust our emergency plans as needed to ensure the safety of our patients. They have entrusted us with their care, and we take that responsibility very seriously.
Our staff and facility have dealt with hurricanes more than once in the more than 24 years that we have been serving patients nationwide. Our facilities are fully equipped to withstand extreme weather events: They are hurricane proof, even in winds up to 250 miles per hour, and our generator can keep our patients safe and comfortable for the duration of the storm.
