Twana Nixon is FHE Health’s newest National Strategic Development Liaison.
As one of several National Strategic Development Liaisons around the country, Twana will serve the Southern (Arkansas)/South Central (Oklahoma) region, where she will be a strong community advocate for high-quality, affordable care and a treatment resource for families and individuals as well as employers, hospitals, medical and clinical providers, educational institutions, correctional facilities, and other entities.
It’s work that Twana has been doing in various forms or another across more than 20 years of working in the substance abuse treatment industry—ever since she successfully got clean herself.
“I am very passionate about what I do, and I’ve always done what I could to get people into treatment,” she said in a recent interview. “I will do whatever I can to make recovery possible for others.”
Describing her new role with FHE Health, Twana said, “I am a resource to the community to help people find treatment.” She sees herself as “a trusted addiction and mental health treatment solution partner” for any person, family or entity looking for information about addiction and mental health treatment.
